| We are honoured to invite Yoni Goldstein, Editor of the Canadian Jewish News, to participate in a panel discussion on Judaism and Journalism, with our own incoming Sgan Rosh Beit Midrash, Rabbi Jonathan Ziring. The topic should prove fascinating. Does Judaism’s strong emphasis on privacy and on guarding our tongues allow for investigative journalism? How do we balance the values of institutional accountability and transparency with a Torah that teaches us to assume the best in others? Can one be a good Jewish journalist? |
